Plum Clafouti

1 1/4 cups milk
2/3 cup sugar
3 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup all purpose flour
3 cups plums, pitted and quartered
Pinch of kosher salt

 

Preheat the over to 350°F,

Put the milk, sugar, eggs, vanilla, salt and flour in a food processor or blender and mix until smooth.

Liberally butter the bottom of a large pie dish. Spread the plums evenly over the bottom of the dish. Pour the batter over the top of the fruit.

Bake until the top is browned and a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean, about 45-50 minutes.

Serve warm with your choice of whipped cream or ice cream.
