Musso and Frank’s flannel cakes PDF Print E-mail

6 Eggs
2 cups Milk
1 tablespoon vegetable Oil
Salt
½ cup All-purpose flour
½ cup Pastry flour
¼ teaspoon Vanilla extract
2 tablespoon Sugar


Beat eggs, milk, oil and pinch of salt in bowl.

Add, in three batches, all-purpose flour and pastry flour and mix well, so there are no lumps. Add vanilla and sugar and mix well.

Use 1/3 cup batter per cake spooned onto a greased skillet and cook over medium heat until golden brown, 3 to 4 minutes. Turn and cook until golden brown on other side, 2 to 3 minutes.

Makes about 12 cakes.
