Zabaglione from Elaine's PDF Print E-mail

Ingredients:
4 egg yolks
3 tablespoons sweet Marsala wine
4 tablespoons sugar
 
Equipment:
A double boiler
A whisk

Method:
Put water in the bottom part of the double boiler, but not enough to touch the top part.
Place egg yolks and sugar in the top part of the double boiler and beat together until well mixed and pale, add the wine and place over the hot water, do not let the water boil, just simmer.
Beat the ingredients until thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
Pour over berries or fruit of choice.
