Bacon, Lettuce, & Tomato Sandwich PDF Print E-mail

Fry three pieces of bacon per sandwich, (so if you’re making 2 or 3, double it or triple it) and drain well on paper towels

Slice a good tomato, thinly

Wash and dry romaine lettuce leaves.

Toast two slices of a good white bread or challah. (or more for more sandwiches)

Spread mayonnaise on both pieces.  Layer bacon, tomatoes and lettuce.  And lay top bread on bottom and cut in half.

Serve with sliced apples or apricots on the side (chips are too intense for this sandwich.)

But it is a perfect sandwich.

(optional add sliced avocado)
