French Fried Onions

4 medium onions, sliced paper-thin
½ cup all purpose flour
1 quart vegetable oil
Salt

In a large bowl toss the onions and flour together. In a large Dutch oven heat the oil to 360° F. Add the onions 1 cup at a time and fry until golden brown.

Drain the onions on a paper bag and repeat with the remaining onions.
